The Emirates Reprographic Rights Management Association (ERRA) participated in the Warsaw International Book Fair as part of the Sharjah Guest of Honor programmed, where it organized a panel discussion entitled “Collective Management Organizations and Their Role in Protecting Creativity – Between the UAE and Poland.” The session brought together representatives of collective management organizations from both countries.
The discussion highlighted the role of collective management organizations in protecting copyright, strengthening licensing systems, and supporting authors and publishers, while showcasing the experiences of the United Arab Emirates and Poland in the collective management of rights.
The session also served as a platform for exchanging expertise and exploring opportunities for international cooperation, contributing to the promotion of best practices and the strengthening of intellectual property protection frameworks at both the regional and international levels.
